The Clayton Creative team was delighted to be awarded the design contract for the re-branding of the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield. The work involves the development of a new logo and brand image, which will be carried across the Theatre's marketing materials, with a particular emphasis on the theatre programme, new website and outdoor banners.
Says Artistic Director, Victoria Firth: "The role of Theatre in our Society is evolving at quite a pace. We are absolutely committed to delivering a dynamic, exciting mix of theatrical genres, in addition to a programme of film, music, comedy and dance, of a consistently high standard, that both resonates with our audiences, and pushes the boundaries exceeding expectations. More accessible and affordable than ever before, Theatre is here to be enjoyed by everyone. We need to ensure that our commitment to achieving this is communicated clearly through strong visual representation, to entice both existing and new audiences within Huddersfield and from farther afield to come to our Theatre. We are delighted to be working with Clayton Creative who are proving to be as passionate as we are about achieving our ultimate aim."
Adds Clayton Creative's (Creative) Director, John Clayton: "The consistent delivery of a clearly defined set of core brand values, underpinned by a strong visual representation, is vital to the success of a brand and its importance cannot be underestimated. LBT are taking this very seriously and we are extremely impressed by the energy and passion they are investing in the development of their brand. This has engendered much animated and interesting discussion and we are delighted to be an integral part of such an exciting, thought-provoking process."
The new brand identity and website will be revealed later this year.
