We 'relished' (excuse the pun, but we couldn't resist it!) the opportunity to pitch for the position of design agency for Shaws of Huddersfield and were absolutely delighted when we were awarded the job! Established in 1889, Shaws has devoted over 100 years to cooking, tasting, developing and producing a delicious, ever evolving range of great quality chutneys, relishes, sauces and salsas aimed both at the foodservice industry as well as retail.

While Shaws has, undoubtedly, a long and interesting history, the company remains clearly focused on the present and future, investing heavily in modern technology and keeping its facilities bang up to date. As part of Shaws' progressive approach, the company has also recently updated its brand. Following this, Clayton Creative has been asked to photograph, design, copywrite and produce a new look ad campaign, brochures, exhibition stands and new website, all due to roll out during the remainder of 2009.

Says John Clayton, Clayton Creative's Creative Director: "We have really enjoyed working with Shaws to date. It is particularly interesting to see how long established companies evolve and remain progressive over the years and Shaws is a excellent example of this. Part of our initiation process was obviously a tour around the factory, which was fascinating, and where we were able to witness the whole process, from initial product development through to the finished product in a jar, labelled up and ready to go out. We certainly look forward to developing our relationship with Shaws into the future."
