It's fair to say that the team at Clayton Creative love Fish and Chips, especially good ones! So, when long established, well-known Kingfisher Restaurant and Takeaway, with a reputation for some of the best fish and chips for miles around, asked us to help them develop a new brand identity following a whole new refurbishment of the restaurant, we leapt at the chance!
Interior Designer, Caroline Thornton, of Room by Room, was commissioned to undertake the refurbishment of the restaurant, which has been re-designed in a new contemporary style, using neutrals combined with rich reds and oranges. The new look also really makes a feature of the existing beams and of course, the beautiful stained glass window depicting the Kingfisher. From this, Clayton Creative came up with new menus, outdoor signage and a brand new website to complement the new look. Clayton Creative is now looking forward to working with Kingfisher on implementing a new PR Campaign for 2010.
Says Kingfisher owner, John Hutchinson: "The decision to re-brand Kingfisher was not taken lightly as many of our customers are not only regulars, but have been coming to us for many years, but judging from the very excellent feedback we have been getting, it was definitely the right thing to do and we are absolutely delighted with the results!"
